Over the past 22 years, I’ve had two Achilles injuries in my left leg, and two years ago I experienced a major break in my left ankle and fibula. Despite regularly attending Pilates on the Reformer, my left leg didn’t get stronger. Meanwhile, my right leg became increasingly tight, with significant aches and persistent knee pain.
I took an introductory Block Therapy series with Jessica Mycelia about a year and a half ago, but it wasn’t until last October that I began practicing regularly. I started by following the Starter Program videos for the legs.
Since October, my right knee pain, leg pain, and stiffness have completely gone away. My left leg has become noticeably stronger, and walking down stairs now feels almost normal again.
It truly has been a life changer, and I am highly motivated to continue this work with the block.
